    The 83rd Texas Legislature simplified the process by which physicians supervise and delegate to physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses. While the final rules do not change the definition for a standing delegation order, they define a prescriptive authority agreement as a separate and distinct arrangement. In addition, the rules scrap the definition for medically underserved area.

    These changes enable physicians to lead PAs and APRNs more effectively in collaborative practice.

    This webinar will help you:

    • Appreciate how the structure of delegation has changed to benefit your practice;

    • Learn the impact of the law and regulations, and how to be in compliance;

    • Recognize how the changes support the evolving physician-led team approach to care;

    • Understand your responsibilities for supervising delegated prescriptive authority; and

    • Know how to use a prescriptive authority agreement.

    Bonus! All attendees will receive a sample prescriptive authority
