Learning Objectives Upon completion of this program participants should be able to comply with regulatory requirements for prescribing and monitoring controlled substances.

*Meeting Mandated CME Requirements This program is eligible to count towards:(1)The eight hours of training on treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders required for all U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration-registered practitioners, (2)The two hours* of CME in the study of Pain Management and Prescription of Opioids required by the Texas Medical Board. (TAC TITLE 22 PART 9 RULE §161.35 (a)(2)(C)), and (3)The two hours of ethics credit required each renewal cycle.
