- Demonstrate general actions to follow in response to emergencies involving blood and how to handle exposure incidents;
- Identify the signs/labels/color coding used for biohazards and bloodborne pathogens;
- Develop a exposure control plan for the medical practice;
- Explain the basics of fire safety; and
- Develop a prevention plan for work place violence.
