    The HIPAA Privacy Rule and Texas medical privacy law provides protections for patients’ identity and health information and gives patients an array of rights with respect to that information. Federal and state statutes require that practices train their staff based on their duties within the practice and that practices maintain business associate agreements with covered entities.  This webinar provides an overview of HIPAA compliance and answers frequently asked questions including:
