    Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

    1. Define health disparities and cultural competence in the health care setting;
    2. Explain the relationship of cultural competence to health disparities; and
    3. List ways to increase culturally and linguistically appropriate services to reduce health disparities.

    0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (Enduring)   The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
